Digital media projects demand expertise and agile approaches to integrate new technologies, training programs, workflows, and design to create winning solutions.

Three recent projects illustrate that our experience in integrating these disciplines  leads to great results.

Radio Free Europe
Multimedia for Reporters

Radio Free Europe is providing reporters in the field with smartphone kits that allow correspondents to produce and deliver high quality multimedia from just about anywhere in the world.

Montgomery is providing management and technical consulting along with training seminars in Moscow, Bishkek and Tbilisi.

Together we are developing deep knowledge about the apps, accessories, training, and workflows that allow field reporters to quickly file many types of high-quality multimedia reportage from either Android or Apple smartphones.

Montgomery is also contributing to the design a custom app for their journalists to deliver live video reports directly to their content management system.

S.M.A.R.T. Media Lab

Authored and supervised the design, concept technology and construction of IREX’s S.M.A.R.T Media lab project in Tbilisi, Georgia.

A media training center that serves a graduate-level journalism school and a Radio Free Europe journalism training program.

The technology is mobile and the electronic newsgathering equipment we specified is organized into a organized and flexible system of specialized kits.
